Why are people stressing Obama's birthplace?

During his run for president Obama released the standard form Hawaii considers to be a legal birth certificate. It is the same form that is required and accepted for all sorts of legal documents. The same type of form the birthers would be required of the birthers for certain documents. I am sorry that he released the long form. He was not legally required to do so and he should never have been asked to do so. Not to mention that it is a waste of time. The "birthers" desperately want to believe that this black man who is now president was not born in the U.S. They do not want it to be true and therefore they will (in their own minds) nullify any proof to the contrary. Since we cannot go back to the day his mother gave birth to him and put them in the delivery room, they will continue to conspire against him.
