Traveling away without cat?

So long as your cat is comfortable alone (independent, knows her boundaries, won't take your disappearance as a sign of abandonment, or as a new found freedom and decides to take off), there shouldn't be much trouble so long as your cousin will be stopping in to feed daily at the least. At the end, you'll come back to a ticked off cat, but there really shouldn't be anything too serious.
