I have a birth control prescription, but I don't know if I want to take it.?

Well, I take birth control to control my period otherwise I could bleed for weeks. But first things first, talk with your doctor to make sure you have the right kind. I'm anemic too, so mine don't have potassium in it. Make sure to let your doctor about all your worries so he/she sets you up with the correct one just for you. And about the side effect, I've been taking birth controls for years and I find it to be less irritating when I take it at night, right before bed. If that doesn't work try after a full meal and glass of milk. Hope I helped.
